Overall I really believe this hotel deserves 5 stara.
The breakfast buffet was also really good and included some really nice options that were very well presented.

Decent hotel, but with a major design flaw. Several rooms have approximately 8 feet of fluorescent lighting directly outside the windows. Apparently the lighting is to illuminate the exterior building, but it floods the rooms with utterly annoying light throughout the night. The worst part had to be the blackout shades. The shades were not flush with the wall/window, so light poured around the shade from all sides. Someone was paid well to design this establishment but failed miserably in this aspect. Be sure to ask for any room besides these!
My wife and I especially loved the huge shower in our room it was amazing!
It was a great night stay! The rooms are pretty, the bed is super comfy, and the breakfast was pretty tasty! The staff is also super awesome! They made sure that the flowers my husband surprised me with were safely delivered to the room. I'd stay there again!
I came to the Element in Maryland for my best friends wedding. While the hotel amenities and breakfast were appreciated, I was so very very disappointed with the service received at the bar. I'm not trying to sound like a lush...but I get to see my best friend once a year as she lives in PA and I live in MN. I wanted to enjoy some time at the bar hanging out with her, her fiance and her new family. Needless to say, the bar closed whenever the bartenders felt like leaving. On Wednesday there was a semi-full bar, and when I went to get a new drink at 11:20, no one was there! The website states that the bar is open until 2:00 AM while the staff say 12:00 AM...regardless, I never saw the bar open past 11:20 PM.. Wait times were also ridiculous, I waited consistently 10-15 minutes for a beer. The front desk was friendly, but also didn't seem to know what was going on most of the time. My final bill had $40 worth of items that i did not purchase, they confused my room with the brides, however I did not want to wait another 30 minutes to resolve the issue (I had a plane to catch!) so I took the charge. The drivers were PHENOMENAL!!!! Great conversation and so very reliable!! Also, big thank you to security for letting us have the wedding after party in my bedroom since they would not let us congregate anywhere else!
