5. Missing book case
Hired a crew of 5 and a truck for a local move. Estimate was easy and straightforward. Crew had all the right equipment, was well managed, and worked efficiently. No damage or injuries. Only frustration was that the dispatcher didn't call on the day of the move.
4. Numerous items broken (picture frames, mirrors, etc...)
Packed our house in 1 day, suppose to be 3...Great!!! But here are the results:
6. Used kid’s stuffed animals for packing fragile items!!!

8. Numerous other issues, but you get the point.
Have moved multiple times, this one is by far the worst. But shame on me, next time I will have to micromanage how every item is packed.
Worst moving experience ever. Once I got a hold of them, the lady couldn't help me. Referred me to Mark for a walk thru. Did the walk thru over FaceTime type of app. Then 2 weeks later another guy says he's at my apartment for the walk thru. I told him it was done already but this shows an internal communication issue. Meanwhile, I was working on dates with one lady who was new but didn't know a lot. Then I find out I'm working with Tara. I tried to explain my situation to her but she rudely cut me off because what she wanted to say was more important than what I was trying to say. Finally we figured out a solution with dates and times. I didn't hear anything so the day before I called to ensure everything was still good to go. Nice lady answered the phone and then rude lady abruptly told me they'd call me at the end of the day, without giving me an opportunity to speak. Moving day... 4 guys show up and only one (Terry) is a really hard worker. They got there at 10 and 3 of them had to take a smoke break at 1115 and then a few more throughout the day. They knew I only had my elevator from 12-4 but didn't seem to care to much. Breaks were way more important. They left after 5 and luckily my apartment was flexible. The most shocking event was when Andrew got upset and told me a few times that I didn't have to check his work, when I was ensuring everything was tagged and inventoried. He was loud and obnoxious. This was by far the most chaotic move i have been through. Upon delivery, scheduling was a surprise. They called and told me my stuff would be delivered the next day. Luckily I was available. Movers showed up at 5pm and left around 9pm. 2 guys. Most of my stuff made it fine. Bookshelf was demolished. Mattress ripped and dirtied. Leather sofa scuffed. Bed frame scratched. Customer service horrible.
Just amazing service. Interstate move between two incredibly different types of moving needs. All furniture was packed on site and safety ensured over and over. The team followed the exact layout given and kept an amazingly positive attitude the whole time.
Never, ever again.
1. Broken King sized bed frame
3. Broken Smart TV (did not put in TV box)
2. Lost brackets and bolts to treadmill
7. Packing was poorly organized (if I have all my DVDs in one place, I would assume they would all be in one box or better yet, with the DVD player)...(also, why am I finding random pieces of the drumset in different boxes)
