We love our new fireplace! The Day or Night Plumbing team was professional from beginning to end and did a good job presenting us with options and helping us to make our final fireplace selection. They were careful with installation too, making sure that there were no irregularities in our chimney and working to make sure we had all of the necessary permits. In sum, we had a good experience and are enjoying the product. We highly recommend Day or Night Plumbing.
I got tired of dealing with firewood, so I had a gas log set installed on July 21, 2017 by Day or Night Plumbing. First, we went to their huge showroom and discussed our options, and decided on a gas log set. It really puts out some nice heat. They were a pleasure to deal with and did a great job. They cleaned the chimney first, painted the inside of the firebox black, installed the gas line into the house from the outside propane tanks, and installed the gas log set. All in one day. Highly recommended.
Liz at Home & Hearth went above and beyond to help us locate pipe and a fireplace so that we could complete our basement renovation for our log home in West Virginia. When our builder put the rough in for a fireplace in our basement, he used old pipe that is no longer manufactured. We had to locate pipe and a fireplace that could be used with this type of pipe. Everywhere we called said they could not help us until I talked to Liz. She searched until she was able to locate exactly what we needed. We had almost given up hope until we talked to her. I highly recommend this company for all of your home and hearth needs!!!!!
Could not be more pleased with the entire experience! The staff was helpful from the moment I walked through the door all the way through installation. They helped me plan the type of fireplace for my environment and the best placement in the room. Going back for an additional new FP plus an insert.
We visited a few different dealers, but what sold us on Day or Night was the sales lady Pam Fleming. She was very knowledgeable and had a laid back sales attitude which we liked. Were they the cheapest? No 1 other place was a bit less $$, but they sure were not as knowledgeable; we asked on what type of paint to use inside the fireplace to pain the white bricks, and they said just use a normal every day black interior paint. Which is the wrong answer, as one wants to use a high temperature paint. And to be fair, we never asked Day or Night to match that price. Another benefit of Day or Night is that they work on Saturdays,were as many other places do not. The tech that came to our house for the measurements and install was Daniel. A fine representative of the company, as he def knew what he was doing and was very professional and courteous. We were the last customers on his list for the day and he still took his time in explaining the new gas fire log set to us. Overall from the sales experience to the install, we are very happy. If that changes, I will update my review, but as of Nov 12 2017, it is a 5 star experience,and glad we went with Day or Night.
