I found the next month I had been charged again. After inquiring I was told there's a 30 day cancellation policy and wouldn't refund me. I brought up the reason for my departure to which I was given the reply "Well, you weren't really paying for childcare services". I asked what the rep meant and she said that it was extra and I wasn't paying. This went entirely against what I was told when signing up and nothing in the contract ever said otherwise.
I've worked out here a handful of times, one of my favorite gyms.

The gym itself (in terms of equipment and space) is totally sufficient and actually quite good for a thorough work out. My negative review is in regard to their "free" "child care". I will explain why I say "free" later, but will address the chidcare first.
Great little gym. Most of the weights have both lbs and kg notation which is great for us Europeans. Pricing is good and its not too crowded.
All that said, given the poor management and the shifty nature of the owner on this matter, I give it 1 star. To me HOW a business is run and by WHOM with what character is just as important as the service they provide. I have filed a BBB complaint which is pending

I had a positive experience through late 2014 when I attended the gym, particularly with the child care worker they had employed. After a brief hiatus I returned in early 2015. The new child care worker wasn't as good, but seemed okay. That was until one day I found that she had been sitting on her phone in the lobby simply watching (between texts I imagine) the children through a glass door. I came back at the end of my workout to find that my son had pooped in his pants and been left in it the entire time. This was no doubt due to her not actually doing her job. After this incident I cancelled my membership.
